This is one of my favorite songs by Jay-Z, because its what I was going through. 

When I first started making beats at 15 (and some years after),

people were constantly telling me what I could not do. 

Mostly based on what they did not accomplish...

Golden State Warriors 2K

Old Warriors Logo....

Which served its purpose for that time period.

The Warriors clearly have a new team, new attitude,

and most importantly, a new path that they are headed.

This is the new Warriors logo...

I love the new look, we are in the year 2010 right??.

What I love most about this logo is

the "Bay Bridge", which symbolizes... "The Bay".

After leaving Philly, the Warriors started out in 

San Francisco, then moved across the bridge to (East) Oakland. 

Football wise, in the Bay Area,

 there are two completely different teams. 

The 49ERS are more conservative, the RAIDERS... 

Well not so (Lol). The situation between the two

is territorial, its beef, its War, its not good. 

(New Jersey's from what I've seen on SLAM)

Basketball in the Bay is much different. 

Bay Area basketball fans, for the most part, are unified...

 Its all about the Warriors!

So this is a present from the Warriors to its fans in the Bay Area.

I am always impressed by (My 2nd favorite Hip-Hop artist) Wale.

Ragz2Riches: Mr.Robinson Throwback Track

This is a throwback! 

Been a minute since I've heard it, past by it on my Ipod, 

and remembered I never posted it on this blog. 

This was kind of a practice track, I was basically trying to see 

how fast it would take to  produce a quality track. 

It took a little less than an hour to complete. 

I sampled Jay-Z's "99 Problems", and triggered those samples using Apple's 

LogicPro's "EXS-24". This track was exclusively produced using Logic...

ChabotCollege BigBand Mix1

This is the first recording from the "Chabot BigBand Session's" 

we did this semester.

My instructor Eric Shultz (Cool cat...The pic says it all), collaborated with 

Chabot's Jazz InstructorJon Palacio... 

And here we have a solid mix.

Like the "BigBand Mix2" below, I've mixed this track a couple times,

a lil less for this track.

Love the experience, most of all I love mixing the audio.

This performance was recorded in one of my 

classes at Chabot College.

A collaboration by two great instructors Eric Schultz, and Jon Palacio.

The title of this track is "Im From Da Town"...

Im really juiced about the development of this song.

Especially because Im pushin it all over the south this summer.

And I love nothing more than representing the Bay, and Oakland.

BookSong, a "Paris" Original

 

"Booksong" is an original composition,

and recording created by my classmate "Paris".

Although we did some recording in ProToolsHD,

the rest of this track was recorded using an "Mbox2".

A majority of the engineering was done by both Paris, 

and one of my partners in crime, "Mr.1Man-Band"...

 "Diamond".

This final mix above was my creation.

Hope you enjoy the song, she will expand on this idea.

I wouldn't mind working with her again, she's a musician.

There's another version with rap lyrics, 

I'll get that soon.
